Constraint Assignment

 

• Material: 

• Anywhere on Campus, note taking materials (can be done on your phone, or on paper).

• Process: 

• Choose a place relatively busy with student/teacher/patrons. For 10 minutes, ask every person you can this question: “What makes you truly happy?” and “Why?” You can follow up further with any questions you would like after that.

• try to note how people act when you ask, and how they look when they talk about what makes them happy.

• You can explain the project to them if you want, to make it less weird.

• Form:

• Any technology available to you on your phone. 

• Writing

• Photos

• Video

• Editing tools

• etc.

• Content: 

• Think about why this matters. What makes you happy? Are there any themes or patterns? Why might this be important?

• Context: 

• Class presentation. Show your findings. Make a conclusion and teach us a lesson.
